Hi! Can share a little about yourself and what you do?
I am Jacqui Pugh – I am a certified life transformation coach and a break up coach. I do one-on-one coaching and I also have an intense 4 month group break up program. I help people figure out their blocks (relationship related or not) so they can move forward and achieve their goals in life!
Can you tell us about a significant heartbreak and how you recovered?
I lived with a guy who was a soul mate of mine. Everything was pure bliss until he went through, what I believe was, an early mid-life crisis. He broke up with me by just not coming home one day. Like I never saw him again. (He’s alive, don’t worry lol) It took 3 years for the break up to actually hit me. At that point, I had just created my break up program. At first, I felt hypocritical because I suddenly had a break up that I wasn’t over. But then, the beauty happened. This was the first break up I had never dealt with. I was able to participate in my program, before I launched it, as an actual client. And it completely worked!! I’m the happiest I have ever been!
What are major red flags for you when you start dating someone new?
Major red flags for me, is if someone’s values are not in alignment with mine and if their actions speak differently than their words.
What are your favorite mood elevators to uplift and inspire you?
If I’m feeling down or uninspired, I love to learn guitar and sing, take flower baths, or do something nice for someone else.
Do you stay friends with your ex? Unfollow or follow them on social media, etc?
I do not stay friends with any exes. I feel it is unfair to my future partner. I find, typically, one of the people in the past relationship still wants something more.
Any tips for our users on moving on from heartbreak?
